I am looking forward to my weekend! finally get to see my son who is out of the Marines!! will be home Friday to get the remainder of his stuff to take back to San Marcus! So we will be having some celebration rounds of cold adult beverages!!!!
We are counting down to Thanksgiving as well will be our first time back in the stand hunting together!! I'm a Very Happy momma!!!!!

Son and BIL out this opening weekend. One playing in Jersey at a reunion, one working a trade convention. Even still, looks to be a great weekend. Hopefully the rain will have soured the acorns, lol. Cool weather and dark of the moon. You've got to luv it!

I must have a soft spot in my heart as I'm helping Jana's movers move furniture into my place this Friday, LOL. She asked a favor and well . . . how could I say no?

Sister Sally was set to go to MD Anderson December 15th but they just called and said they could see her tomorrow at 7:00 AM.

This is good news. We hope to have a positive KCA update soon.

Her tumor is very small so we are optimistic. Hopefully her dance with cancer is a short one. Thanks guys, she's mostly a lurker here but she does read this stuff.

While we are talking about this, I have a second cousin that just found out he has inoperable pancreatic cancer. Only a miracle from the Great Physician can help him now. Please put him and his family in your prayers.

Good luck Gary. That's some tough huntin' around there.

I start chemo treatment #6 tomorrow. Will be halfway through after this one. I will be getting my first set of PET/CT scans after that to see what's going on with the tumors. Hopefully they find nothing. Y'all send up some prayers. If it comes back again (for the third time) they want to take out my entire colon (not conducive to an active lifestyle) =)

Sorry to hear that Bill. My 89 yo Mamaw has pancreatic cancer too.
