Morning, All. Looks like snow may stay South of me.... Don't remember ever saying that before.

Nice cool 38 degrees so far. Will be doing some sight seeing this after noon at the Lincoln and Washington Monuments.

My last day in Crawford before I head back to Fort Worth to hopefully beat the weather coming in. I plan to watch my cousins play two softball games in Waco and then head to West to see the Crawford boys playoff basketball game later tonight. Sure is hard to stop in West and not get kolaches.

Just got home from Trent's first Track Meet.7th grade. Hooks finished 2nd overall. Trent ran both relays and the 400 meter. Two seconds and a first. Paw might be a little proud.

Cory had his first baseball game for the Ducks this year. He's on the JV as a freshman. Starting catcher, went 4 for 5, three RBI's, scored 2 runs. I'm kinda proud, too!

Mmmm West Kolaches.... they are good. Its good to see you out and about!

I'm kind of hoping we get a bunch of snow tomorrow. It makes for one of those days at work where I'm there 5 hours and get more done than I usually do in 2-3 days because no one is there bothering me.

Since Friday its been a pretty steady streams of PMs, emails, and phone calls about people needing website work done since announcing Fly South here on TBH. Its been a real blessing and fun to boot. Today was just one unending blur. Fortunately got to wind down with the GF, some fajitas, and a few margaritas just in time to come home check TBH, get drowsy on the couch watchin' the Olympics, and go to bed.

Y'all have an excellent evening, folks.

Well we just had my Uncles funeral/get-together in Woodville, TX. I say get- together because that's what my Uncle wanted, everyone around a fire telling stories of our families past. Mostly hunting stories, you see I grew up on his deer lease, as did his kids, there friends and so on. He was a John Wayne figure to all of us that knew him and had infinite knowledge on life. Point being he helped grow all of our love for the outdoors by providing a place where we could gather, have fun, and walk away with a considerable amount of knowledge of everything outdoors. I learned allot from that man as I do from all of you on this site and cant put into words how much I appreciate that. Let's pass on this ETERNAL FLAME to all the future generations and we will be richer for it. Thanks.

Sounds like a great memorial service. Sorry for your loss.
