Rain! A whole whoppin' half an inch!

Oh well it is our first measurable amount of rain since October.

Morning everyone. Yeah, we also had a real good shower come through San Antonio this morning around 6:30. Lots of lightning and thunder. Rained pretty hard for a while. Haven't made it outside yet to check the rain gauge. From the back deck, it looks like somewhere around one inch. Glad to have it. Hope everyone has a good day !

Afternoon folks; the rain's been coming down sideways for about the last hour. Ventured out a little while ago, and went by Carter's Country in Pasadena to p/u some more ammo. They were a little low, as in 30 or so boxes per caliber, and only out of the .380; luckily, mine all start with a ".4" and/or end with a "mag".

Was planning to put some ribs and fish on the smoker today, but the weather put a damper on that. Instead we decided to make a big pot of chili with jalapenos fresh from the garden. The smoker will wait until tomorrow.

Dinner is cooking. Asian pork loin. Actually the pork is American just slow cooked with some asian sauces Then off to the church.

Today was a good day. We got 6/10 of an inch of rain here at the ranch, and got to watch camo get in a fight with a turtle!

Another .61 inches today in Cotulla. Hope we got that at the Ranch.
