          Went and picked my Triax back up last night with a fresh string. It’s back to shooting like a champ. Looking forward to running some arrows thru critters soon!

                I didn't dry fire it. I had the trigger on the inside holding it closed with my thumb.

                        Get on archerytalk and read.. there were several cases where this exact same thing happened... of course everyone jumped to hold Mathews by the nuts.

                              Glad to hear it didn't pop the limbs
                              Another reason I never draw a bow back without an arrow knocked--- I dont trust any release and it ain't worth the trouble u have to go thru if it dry fires
