Finally was able to get to my best stand this year after multiple rises on the Middle Bosque. Headed out Wednesday evening with my wife looking to get her on a cull we’ve been trying to kill for a few years. We sat for about an hour and a half watching a few young bucks come by. Looked over to my left and in comes a big wide 8 I had been getting pictures of the week before. He worked his way in and the .223 made quick work of him. Haven’t gotten a tape on him yet but probably my biggest to date

It’s not for a lack of trying. He’s been around for about three or four years and if you don’t get him before rifle season he disappears
