So let’s discuss that.

Had a doe at ten yards. Took the shot and made a clean miss over her back. Hell I don’t remember aiming. Guess I was too excited. Shot sounded good. Felt good. Looked real bad.

Lol! I think I had about a dozen of those past year before I finally connected! Shot a target great and would shoot right over a deer at 7 yards! Got one with the Sage last year and picked up a new to me Bob Lee with some crappie winnings. Haven't flung an arrow with it yet! Good luck!

Well... that certainly does happen. I still have a nast tendency to high on deer with my stickbow and I have been hunting with it exclusively for over 3 years.

Excitement for sure plays a big role... but as Bobby pointed out.. gotta "aim" a little lower since your arrow isnt flying as fast as you are used to.
