    Blinds and Feeders

Want to put a couple of feeders and blinds on a new property. Currently plenty of game but no equipment. Too many options without experienced references so, wanted to see if the green screen had an opinion. What would you suggest for best value in blinds and feeders.

I don't want the most expensive but the best value. Strongly leaning to stand and fill feeders. I've had All Seasons feeders, The Blynd, and Texas Hunter in the past. Buccees feeders look interesting but I'm not 100% sold on those yet.... Purchase locations need to be in San Antonio - Kerrville area.

Stand and fill just make sure they are not located anywhere it may flood. Lost two this year. Also Cows/Pigs will tip them over so stake them down or pen. With that said they are the nicest and easiest to use IMO. However, for my river place I am going with 14ft winch up feeders to avoid flooding.

The Bucees stand and fill will do the job if you're on a budget. If you want better quality then get a Lamco low and throw feeder.

Bow blinds I don't think you can beat the Maverick for the price. If you can afford a little more then go with Krivoman blinds.

Hope that winch-up works for you. I drove through the South Llano river flood area this weekend. Don't think anything feeder will last through that!

Thanks. I'll look into the Maverick blinds. I keep hearing "Buy Once-Cry Once" when I look at feeders. Buccee's are tempting but, I'm not convinced yet.

It's a feeder so no matter what you buy there will be an issue. If you have enough of them you will always have one with a problem. My advice would be just get all the same and go ahead and buy an extra battery, timer, motor and color panel.
