Need Mechanical Advice on 4 wheeler

Need some advice on my 4 wheeler. It's sat for around 3 -4 months. Went to start it and it only turns over, will not fire. Sprayed some starting fluid in carburetor runs for 3 - 4 seconds and dies out. Put in a new spark plug, fresh gas.
    its a Yamaha 660 Grizzly
I live in League City, south of Houston. If you know of anyone or shops that work on 4 wheelers pass it on. Not real fond of Dealers
    Thank

Yup sound like a fuel delivery problem.
Pull the fuel line off the carburetor. Turn it over see if it's getting fuel to the carburetor before you take it off or start jacking with it.
Yes sir make sure any in line shut off values or kill switches are not turned off. Also make sure any fuel filters are not clogged.
Fuel stabilizer is fine but spend a few extra bucks and use primo fuel.
Just thought of this. As weird as it sounds. Check your battery.

          Remember the KISS rule!

Take it to Mudease at the corner of HWy 6 and 35! I just put a Honda Rincon in there and they fixed it right up. Really good guys who have grown their business.

Yes it is a carb problem as others have stated.
Do your research and clean it yourself. It is really not that hard! The hardest part is getting the carb out, sometimes they are a pain to get to.
The part where most people screw up is they do not count the turns on the air mixture screw. It is set X amount of turns out to run right.
One other tip, do not get any carb cleaner on the gaskets. It can eat them up.
              Good luck.

I'd agree with everything but the fuel. I believe the grizzly has a 9.1:1 compression ratio, which means it's made to run on regular. Premium fuel provides no benefit over regular. Fuel stabilizers will work, but if you leave it longer than 6 months I'd drain the tank and carb.

Before taking it to a shop to fix a carb, I would just buy a new carb online and switch it out. A new carb online will usually be between $35 and $70. After switching the carb clean the tank and run only ethonol free fuel in it.

Ethanol free fuel if you can find it and turn fuel valve off and run carb empty if you're not gonna use it for even a short time. Learned the hard way on my Honda.

                      Please do not do this.
The carbs are not built the same. The cheap Chinese carbs off eBay or amazon are junk. The body of the carb is fine (for the most part), but the jets are not always made to spec.
Ask any reliable shop about their take on aftermarket carbs and I bet you get the same answer. It is ALWAYS better to rebuild an OEM carb over replacing with an aftermarket.
