I have used them over the years with little success. I have a good friend that bow hunts and swears that the can call by Primos works for him. So I went and bought a new Thug Jug (still a can product) and decided to try it this year. I have been amazed at my success this year. I had a 130 inch 9 point completely change his direction when I used both calls and walk within 6 feet of my blind. I also had a real nice 8 point cruising the mesquites at last shooting light last night make a 90 degree turn and walk within 100 feet of me in my blind and when I slowly lower my binoculars the was a basket 8 that appeared from nowhere that was 50 feet to my left. I have also had a few other deer just appear after using the calls together. I don`t know if they will work as good in a few weeks but I have decided to use them a lot more for the time being. New lease location may be the difference (deer density) since I had been hunting in Comanche /Mills county. For now I am a believer.
