No luck on the doe. I did find the arrow and it looks good, but couldn't find her.

I set a new stand on the trail I've been seeing the big boys travel, then the wind turned out of the east. What the heck is an East wind. Is this like a once a year thing??? Anyhow, adapt and adjust. I snuck I to a stand that I've never hunted that just happens to have a pond on the west side, perfect for an East wind. It's thick in here. Not sure if I'll be able to get a shot off anywhere, but there should be a MAN in this jungle.

Wind looks to be right for where I've been seeing the big deer for the rest of the trip starting tomorrow. I should be up there all day until he's dead, or I have to point the Chevy south.

Well I'm all settled in, plans have changed and tomorrow will be our last day, another one down to the wire.
I'm in the new set we hung yesterday, and it's been pretty quiet so far. I had a buck cruise by at first light, couldn't tell anything about him, body size and the way he moved told me he was a buck. I'll be here all day, or until something is bleeding. Hopefully will have something to update soon. Y'all stick with me.

Big boy just got by me again, came thru on a different trail. Just 5 yards over, but not our property. If you look in this picture on just the other side of the creek bank there is a fence. He's been traveling between the creek and fence. Today he was across the fence.
I've got to add, HE IS BIG, REAL BIG.

Just had a doe trot across the field north of me. Scott said he just saw a low end shooter chasing does at the trailer. Maybe movement is going to pick up.
