My son Jake, many have read past OP's over the last few years...was awarded the "Expert Infantry Badge" today. He's a staff Sgt and this will help his next step to 1st Sgt.

He's also, in a previous OP, moving his family to Ft Benning soon as a DI (drill instructor.) Our family is just happy he's home and not deployed...you know, Dad's always worry about their kids particularly when in Harm's Way.

Jake is in the middle of this pic (visible patch on left shoulder)...Proud of My/Our Hero! First Thanksgiving, coming up, that I have NOT sweated "bullets" worrying about him...Thank You Lord!!
