I hate having my destiny in someone else's hands, but I figure as long as I work for someone else that's the way it's gonna be. I recently bought a house and am paying for a wedding in February and can't imagine being without a steady paycheck during these times. Please keep myself in mind as well as everyone else affected during these rough times.
Your destiny was never in any hands but the High and Mighty Lord of Lords. I've been there, been layed off, been without work. In it reminded me He was my source.

Praise Him the same way Elijah did before the rain. even though there was a cloud the size of a hand in the distance he knew that abundant rain was coming.

Thank God now for your job and everything He's given you including the upcoming wedding and the house you live in. Praise Him now not once you find out where you land.

Same time start taking measures to hit the market hard and get your resume on the street.

I'm retired now after 30+ years with Texas Workforce Commission. I still do a little consulting with the San Antonio workforce board and monitor their employment programs. Ask for guidance from above but inquire at your local WorkSource Office about their job placement and training opportunities, resume assistance, unemployment benefits, Dislocated Worker Program, etc. Your tax dollars paid for it. Good luck. Times have sure changed in my time and not for the better. There seems to be no stability.

No doubt on the cold, thanks bro. Ifin I still have employment come October, I'll be heading your way.

I feel for you, I've been occupationally challenged since 9/30, and just got off a 5 pm phone screen interview. The woman in staffing for the company said she was a little distracted, her husband is a manager at some other company and just had to lay off 1/2 of this company this afternoon. This is like rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. The advise above is good, you have to put your faith in the Lord above.

I've been in medical for the last 8 years, but am not limited to that.

My prayers go out to you. I am scrambling now to find another job in my company before the Feb 23rd deadline or I will be out of work also.

Dont know if any of you visit the fuge, but there is a member on there, olepal, who works for a very large staffing company. he might be able to help some of you out if you PM'ed him. he posted up a couple of weeks ago telling people to send in resumes if they were without work.

prayers up in the mean time.

Good luck to everyone in limbo.
