    Hill Country Bucks are moving!!!!

At least here at my office in town they are. Watched a buck pushing a doe around for 30 minutes this morning. Nose to the ground and right on her tail.

I'm hoping they're still moving a week from Sunday. They weren't chasing at all at my place last weekend and my buddy that lives in Fburg still hasn't seen much movement.

I’m my stand in Burnet and the wind is crazy. Nothing is moving here either. Supposed to die down this evening, so hopefully the hunting improves.

Wednesday and Thursday were pretty wild in San Saba and McCullough counties. It’s slower
today. I think when the wind stops it’ll pick back up.

I’ll be waiting for one with the boomstick ready a week from Sunday in Bandera. Sounds like they might be a little late this year? They were all but done in that area last year at Thanksgiving. Have 3 bucks that I’m interested in. As long as the camera is saying they are still around, the first one that shows up will probably get a tag zip tied to an antler. Had the first two show up during my October trip. Got drawn on the 7 point but never had a shot, and the first buck was on a bee line in, but a doe started running around playing grab-*** and ran everything off.
