          Dzuiks in Castroville
          Best packaging, clean, good prices.
Weigh the meat you drop off in front of you
I hunt out that way. But on the years I didn’t I never found anything
          better.

Slovaceks in Snook. Their Monterey Jack sausage will make you slap your mama.

I used them...once! Had the same experience. I tossed most of it and gave some away and surprisingly none of those folks have asked for deer meat again.

Harrington's in Winnie is who I'm using these days and I'm very pleased. Pure Cajun in pretty good too

Wow. I have been using them for 8 years. Average 3 to 4 deer a year and a couple hogs and never had a problem. They processed 4 deer for me this year and all of it was fantastic. I didn't get any summer sausage though this year, just link and pan sausage and hamburger. Hate to hear that. I will be trying D and C in New Caney next year. I have heard nothing but great things about them from multiple people.

I’ve tried a lot of deer sausage but haven’t had anything close to Harrington’s in Winnie.

Jap/cheese is the best I've had.

Bellville meat market for sure. Sweet chipotle link and summer sausage is unreal. Also they do a great packaging job with the ground meat that saves a lot of room in the freezer

We stopped using slovaceks. The last batch we got was way rubbery. Not even sure how you could make sausage have the texture that it did. They mix your meat with others and to top it off the guy running the place has a nasty attitude. Their deer processing is a separate business from their normal meat processing/ sausage making.
