Dang. I lived there in Fritch for a few years and hunted Meredith quite a bit. I didn't think it was big enough to camp in there.

You ever hike into Evans Canyon from Plum Creek, 5 miles 1400ft elevation gain/loss ONE WAY!


I have high hopes to be in the kind of shape that I can hike to Evans, find, kill, and pack out a deer in a day.
I am far from that now of course but I have heard of guys doing it!

Heck, I haven't even laid eyes on some of the canyons yet and I have camped/boated/fished/hunted Lake Meredith for 35 years.

Yeah, would be nice to have a device that could play a movie.

Get a cheap Fire on Amazon when they go on sale for Christmas & put some movies on it. Get a couple power banks to charge it when you aren't around electricity.
