We set up a pop up at a feeder we placed way at the back of our place a few weeks ago. We hunted it this weekend. All is good except for where the windows are positioned. To make a long story short, the big window is too tall and the side windows are too short for a kid to shoot out of (without having anything to rest the rifle on). One of my buddies hunted it last night and had a Primos adjustable shooting tripod that was really nice. Worked great, adjust it to the correct height for the tripod and you have a great shooting rest. Well, my idea to buy me one for using in the tripod was interrupted when I saw that they are like $150. Ouch. So.... what are you guys using in this situation? Does anyone have some type of shooting stick system they would recommend for this type of application that isn't overly expensive?

My 7 yo daughter can drive nails shooting off one -
Tons of adjustments and balance and adjustable tension. She shot 2 turkeys at 5yo and missed bottom of window by 1/2”. Not she shoots about 6” up and can be adjusted to shoot out a box blind window. I love it and packs easyAttached FilesComment

We use a camera tripod and purchase the v rest. All can be had for around $30-40. Not quit as good as the field pod but very lightweight.Comment
