Face to face with a mountain lion.

Came face to face with one in NM many years ago while guiding a bowhunter for elk in Chama NM. Saw him sitting looking at us from about 50 yards while we were walking a ridge line cow calling hoping a bull would answer. He just turned and walked off.

I would have emptied the magazine on that rascal.

I am in this camp ! Just got a text from my son, he is in Colorado on an elk hunt, one of the hunters was stalked by a cat, my son said he has his handgun very handy.
