Hope y'all are having a good opening weekend for general season. If you don't mind could you help me age this deer before I go out? Thanks a lot!

Roman nose, from Roman times. Ancient!

Wish I could see him walking. He looks awful slick. Let me go out on a limb and say he's 3.5 or 4.5 with a nose injury.

I don’t think that’s a Roman nose but a broken nose. He looks sickly, perhaps that the reason the rack looks the way it does. IMO I don’t think he’s that old.. Ground check him.

Looks like he may have a condition called "Parrot Nose"... We killed a few on our place out west near Del Rio over the years... most don't live beyone 3-4 years. Jaw/nose is deformed and they cannot eat efficiently. May not be that, but it sure looks like it to me. IF it is Parrot Nose, he's probably 3 1/2 and likely won't last another year.

Looks young to me. Leggy looking. I agree with a broken nose.

We had a wild fire pass through the ranch this past summer so a lot of deer have been misplaced. Thank you all for the information!! Here are a few more as I was skimming through the trail cam pictures.
