I’ve finally realized that when I’m dead and gone, I will he remembered more for the things I did and time I spent with loved ones and friends than any of the animals I’ve taken.

I use to let it eat me alive missing hunting opportunities, and it still stings some but it’s just a deer

Well hunt was ok I guess. Threw some hand corn around 430 got in the tree at 5 had one small 8 point come in and eat hand corn for about 15min then took off looking for a doe I can tell he was looking, 20 min later had a doe come in lone doe I was excited thought she would have something close by she came in and ate for 30 to 45 min with nothing near that kinda surprised me I'm wondering why she didn't have no bucks close by.... when I got down there was a spike he took off like a bat out of hell snorting! But I didn't get busted by anything wind was perfect I'll be back at it tomorrow looking for that one chance with the chosen doe!

You are rite! I don't take if for granted the time I get to hunt or be with my loved ones, this was more about a chance at a buck not so much chance to hunt

Got in the stand yesterday around 430 heard one shot 30min later from the neighboring property then the fourwheelers started I was asumming they got them self a deer, to my right I had a small 8 point step out that I have seen a few HUNTS now he will hang out for a bit then off he gose in search of a doe, well the feeder gose off and the remainder of the hunt was un eventful, right at last light I decided to throw my binos up and take a look under the feeder, to my surprise I see a doe eating never seen her come in was getting low on lights, then out of no where from behind me I hear something coming in hot full speed. The doe takes off and jumps out the pen and the buck I've been after jumps in!!!! I pull back but can't see
Exact spot i would like to hit vitals my pin was right on him thought I would wait to be sure on my shot with a little more light, Light was getting to low I decided it was a bad idea to let one fly I did not have enough light to see impact... wasent the most happy ending but I'll be back after him this afternoon hoping he decides to come in 10 min earlyer, but on a good note a buddy from work that lives up the road took a solid heavy horned 8 point so that tells me the big boys are now out and curzing!!!
