    Trail cameras and cows/other critters

I have a problem. COWS! And possibly other critters jacking with my trail cameras. I put them down low on a tree close to feeders/trails and the cows either rub their nasty noses all over them and mess up lenses/motion sensors with mud and snot or break the cameras all together. I need some creative ideas for putting them out where cows can't mess with them. Higher up in trees? Pointing down at a slight angle okay? Let me know what you got.

Woodpeckers get me. Cows will mess with mine from time to time, but one a woodpecker gets ahold of your camera it is toast.

Your answer is in your post. Put them higher and aim them low. That probably won't deter peckerwoods, but the cows won't snot them up.

Make sure your not handling your camera After filling feeders! I learned the hard way before I figured that out. Corn and protein dust make your camera smell tasty to them.

PVC zip tied to a T post. Out of reach for the cows.

Not my cows. We don't have feeder pens. These cows are the devil. I think they see anything that is not natural and mess with it.
