    The Very Best Tractor

*****In response to the above thread.****

The best tractor is one that you can borrow so that when it breaks down or a tire goes flat you won’t have to pay for costly repairs.

My response to that is.... Don`t be that guy. I have a practically new tractor that my neighbor of less than 6 months has borrowed twice to shred his 2 acres that he won`t mow until it gets to tall. Probably going to have to break it off in him next year and say no. Being neighborly has its limits.

And by the way... I have never borrowed a tractor.

Nobody gets to borrow my tractor. I’ll gladly help a neighbor out but I’m gonna be the one operating.

Yes..This is no joke. The last thing I'd want is for him to run something over....or flip it on it's side...Or some other stupid thing.

        I'd rather do it myself.

Nobody borrows mine either. Sounds like ol boy might need to pay to have it mowed.

Had a customer loan his tractor out, friend rolls tractor over and blows up the engine with 37 hrs it, cost over 10,000 to fix

That’s pretty C. S. To tear up a mans tractor, and return it that way.

Joking or not, it ain’t funny. Good to know you’re that kinda guy.

I’ve borrowed my neighbors and he’s borrowed mine. Sometimes you need one versus the other to get a job done.

I’ve also had a different neighbor borrow ours and beat the ever-living-snot out of it.

Whenever I borrow something I’ll wash it, check fluids, grease it, and TREAT IT WITH RESPECT. But it’s still a helluva lot cheaper than buying one
