    Lucky Dude!!

I'm sure this has been posted here but I personally have never seen it till now.

That dude is lucky as heck.

I would have crapped myself and then dropped to my knees and prayed, thanking God.

An oldie but a goodie. I've used this quote many times from the video, "we're not doing that anymore".

    He's lucky to be alive.

Its a good reminder to not shoot at metal plates, I like to stick to wood and paper targets. Not worth it just to see if it can punch through X thickness metal.

I got hit in the leg with a ricochet several years ago. I was at a range with some LEO friends when one of them started shooting at a metal plate about 20yrds away with an AR-15. The bullet fragmented an hit me in the inside of the calf and hit the guy next to me in the belt. I was wearing shorts. I felt it slap my leg and looked down to see a chunk of the bullet sticking out of my leg. It wasn’t a bug chunk and didn’t penetrate the muscle so I used some needle nose pliers to pull it out. Needless to say, there was no more shooting at the metal plate after that.

You should see the look on people’s faces when I tell them I got shot by a cop! Priceless!

Scary stuff. I was with a friend at his lease in the off season and he pulled out his M1A to do some target shooting. He set a target in some high grass , backed off a ways and squeezed one off. What we did not know was there was an old piece of pig iron off a farm implement in the grass. A big bullet fragment bounced back and buried in his left forearm. His forearm was directly in front of his face from the recoil at the time. Could have been really bad

My dad lives with bullet fragments in his chest and arms from a bullet going off the roll bar of a Jeep. Scope was higher than the bar..
