I’m looking at the T/C Compass in 7mm08. What are you guys finding it shoots the best? Ammo brand, model, and bullet weight. Midway has a decent sale going but I have to buy 3 boxes and don’t want to end up w stuff it won’t like. I realize every gun is different. Just looking for advice from someone w this make and caliber.

If you realize every rifle is different then why are you looking for suggestions on what to shoot in your rifle ? Not trying to be an azz but this question gets asked over and over and the answer is always go buy several different loads and see.
Rifles are like women. What got your last chick off may get the law called on you on the next one. My sons RAP 243 shoots Fusions into 3/4 MOA at 200yds all day long. One of my drafters bought same rifle and it shoots them 2” at 100 yds. It does shoot a ragged hole in the paper at 100 with regular old 100gr Cor-Lokts.....which our rifle won’t shoot for crap.

We use 7mm-08 exclusively in our youth hunting program, Trinity Oaks StarKids. We shoot Barnes VOR-TX 120 grain TSX BT bullets from Ruger American rifles, both compact and full size models and we love this combo. In our program the kids get to keep their rifle after the hunt, so in the last year I have bore sighted and shot over 20 Ruger American rifles with this ammo and they all did very well. I would highly recommend the Barnes 120 grain ammo as one to try.
