Back in a tree!
Got the air let out of us a little with the news of Big Bob.
He was killed 300 yards from where Clark was sitting yesterday at 4:30.

We still have 2 shooters to hunt. Trash 8 & High & Tight.

So Clark is on the North end of the property where I filmed swoop a few days ago.
High & Tight was there last night along with a buck we call Splits. Main fame 10 with split brow tines.
I'm on the south end of the property in a set we just threw up on the edge of a bedding area to my East. There is a perfect funnel here between 2 ponds and it looks awesome!
SE winds are perfect and I just rattled in a buck we call the Resident 9. We have tons of pics of this deer all over the property.

Gonna try and make it happen. .

Just had a doe come water in the pond.

4:30 was the magic hr yesterday. Hoping today is a repeat.

Another great hunt. Had multiple deer come water at the pond.
Watched 2 forkies go it on the pond dam.
Had a doe come in right at dark.

Clark had a slow hunt up until dark. Had a spike and 7 point come feed and head to bean field. Then 2 does came thru and feeding. Then High & Tight comes in from the South to 50 yards and the does spooked and bolted back to the East and he left out chasing them.
2 shooters in 2 days.
It's got to happen at some point.

We'll be back in the morning.

Left Yoakum, Tx at 630 this morning and finally got to Olathe, Kansas at 7 this evening. Man that is a LONG 780 miles. Going to sleep in tomorrow and be on stand in the afternoon.
