2018 College Football - Week 8

USC appears to be in the drivers seat to win the PAC South with losses to Texas and 5-2 Stanford who leads the North.

I dont see a Pac or Big 12 team in the playoff, unless... USC nocks off ND and Texas wins out or OU wins out and blows Texas out in the champ game. None of which seem likely.

I hope it gets messy this half of the year, makes it more intresting.

I'm predicting now that:
There won't be 4 undefeateds in the CFP
Two of the current top 4 will lose a game
Bama won't win the title (i'm taking the field)

Note - I have not fact checked that, but it was on Twitter so must be true.

I agree with Chad on the PAC and Big 12 chances at the CFP.

Pretty sure no Aggies are hurting! First year transitioning with a new HC and things are looking real good.

I would like to go to the LSU vs Texas game next year in Austin. How would I find a spot for my motorhome to tailgate?

I would begin now by researching both Universities as a source of information. The company I used to work for owned the Mall in Tuscaloosa and always had space for football weekend RV parking. Find the LSU Alumni group in your area and someone will know where the Tigers will be gathering.
Be warned, it will be an all weekend affair. One year a LSU fan rented two spaces, one for his RV and one for the portable dance floor he set up on the other! Zydeco and Swamp Pop all weekend and plenty of food and drink. Red Elephants and Tigers having a good time following their favorite teams.

Texas has NEVER gotten so much as a chance at a title with a loss. Pretty much the only top 12ish program that hasn't.

I don't see anyone beating Bama or Clemson or Notre Dame although USC has a chance with the Irish. Looks like tOsu will make it in the playoffs though I think that they will have a loss. I don't see the Pac 12 or Big 12 with a team in the playoffs but I do think that Texas will win the conference.

I am right there with your line of thinking on the playoff.

I am still in the "show me" phase for Texas. They are in a good position, but nothing will surprise me no matter the direction it goes in.
