However, I would put my money that if they did want to come back, it would be blocked

I liked Ragin (still don't have anything against him) but like Smart said, he burned the bridge to the point it could not be repaired
I don't agree with the way he left, but most of us are grown and capable of making and sometimes paying for the decisions we make
