Basically said if the moon ( during daylight ) is low on the horizon then the deer will be up and moving, regardless what time it is. I'm taking off Wednesday and the moon should be low around 10-12. I'll add my observations if anyone is interested.

And my chart shows the moon setting after midnight on Wednesday, but the moon rise is at 3pm. I’m planning on hunting from 11-12 till dark Wednesday. The baro pressure should be on the rise as well

I've noticed if the moon is up during the day most of the times the fish are biting. Has to be the same concept.

Yessir and a moon straight overhead is another good time.

An uncle had told me that when the sun shares the sky with the moon, that its a good day to hunt/fish.

I also recall reading something about it in a Robert Ruark novel.

Yes an minor phase and my chart says rise mid afternoon so 3 sounds about right.

The first 25 years I bow hunted, I kept records on every aspect of the successful hunts. I thought I would find out just when the deer would move. I didn't find out much. The only time I make sure I'm in the stand is when the moon is rising close to when the sun is setting or when the moon is setting and the sun is rising. Deer definitely move more at those times.
