Was trying to search old threads to find what I was looking for but to no avail so figured I’d go ahead and ask the question myself.
I’ve got a Trufire finger release that is about 5-6 years old now. I noticed this year that as I draw my bow back the material that makes up the release is very squeaky compared to how it’s been in past years. I do realize that the release is right next to my ear when drawing so sounds louder to me than it may to an animal standing 20 yards away, but still seems much louder than it used to be. I am sure some of y’all have had similar issues and was wondering if anyone had any foolproof solutions, besides buying a new release ha, that they could share with me to mitigate the noise? Tried rubbing some leather conditioner into it but that did not seem to work. Any ideas are much appreciated.
Thx
