They are on sale at Harbor freight for 279.00. Any one used one to run their Travel Trailer? Is it an inverter Generator and how do you like them? Looking at picking one up and need input on this unit. Thanks

I have one and it is great. Not an Inverter. Left my lease one morning it was 5 degrees walked around to the generator and turned it off. Sat outside uncovered 8 months later when I got back to the lease turned it on and it started on the 2nd pull. I have a super coupon for a 7000 watt for 539.00 I could send you.

I have one and it’s about 2-1/2 years old. I make sure I always turn the fuel off and let it run out and always keep additive in the fuel. It always cranks on the 3-4 pull. It has really surprised me on how reliable it has been for us. I got it when my wife was pregnant with our first kiddo, we would have power outages in the middle of the summer. I would’ve paid 10x as much to get that pregnant lady some air. It runs a window unit, a few fans, lights and the tv/cable/internet and both deep freezes just fine. I used it at work the other day and rant an electric impact and hammer Hilti drill off it with no issues with the amperage load from those either.

Too add to the discussion. Some Walmarts have alcohol free gasoline at the pumps. I keep about 50 gallons on hand. I treat the fuel with Stabil and add Marvels mystery oil. That has will keep much longer than the ethanol bullcrap!
So far as the 4000, it should run your ac n the travel trailer just fine.
