Anyone renewed their weddin vows?

Been married 48 years and someone asked me if I would renew my vows after we hit 50, and I asked them why?....You mean once you hit 50 they expire and are no longer binding?
Just had some inlaws have a whole ceremony and big party afterward....Party on, but forget the ceremony.

We didn't renew . But we found where the preacher that married us 32 years ago preaches at now . Went there heard his sermon . Then sat and visited with him for awhile .

It was discussed and planned out together and informal... just the two of us on a mountain top in Switzerland. Very powerful.

I re-proposed at 15 years, but no ceremony. I did include a honeymoon style trip to St. Croix.

2. She deserved and I could provide a better ring
3. Why not, it touched her heart
