I am no longer in the area im now down on the coast, But all my family is down in the La Vernia, Stockdale, Poth, and Sutherland springs area so not far from ya at all.

Not from Nixon, but used to hunt there. Trying to get back to the area every year...we loved it. Also enjoyed eating at the Taco Ranch.

Used to lease land for deer and hog hunting between Smiley and Nixon. Sure love that country. Would love to get back to that area. If you ever have any beads on leases in the area, let me know.

Used to have relatives down that away, last name Box, not sure if they're still down in that part of the country, but always wanted to hunt down that away.

Definitely one drawback to the area...you sure don't want to be downwind of the chicken houses.
