Am I being wrong about this

Do not want to say who this was , but when new members sign up on here and put something in the classified section, you make a deal with that person and they take your offer you need to stand good on it. I did this last week and thought I bought something from someone and 3 days latter he got back with me saying he traded for something else, when I thought we had already made the deal. If I am wrong about this please tell me so and its the last word I'll say about it, I just thought we had like a honor code on here, your word is your bond, atleast thats the way I was raised. I have no hard feelings to anyone, just wanted to post for future references.

Did money ever change hands? Just curious. I would think that until that happens, either party has the right to cancel. But communications are key. I have seen where the buyer and or the seller backed out and it was okay. Just depends on all the facts and the situation at hand.
