1/4 “ compression nut and feral probably came from ice maker hook up off of a refrigerator right ?

It actually looks like it’s 3/8” nut came from a lav faucet are kitchen sink faucet!!

Could be from anything. Also used in the oilfield.

Yep. Every one of our wellheads has them as gas supply lines to equipment that is gas operated. Ours are stainless steel.
