Same side of town as where I used to shoot on easement. If you ever want to shoot there let me know. it’s just past 1604 out 90 west. You can shoot 100+ yards easy. There is a new subdivision going up but I think it is still a ways away.

City of Bryan has a free archery range in Austin’s Colony Park. Up to 50 yards on the main backstop, but with a movable target you could probably stretch out to 70.

I practice in the backyard I can shoot out to 40 yards. If it is too wet or hot and no one else is home I put my target in the bedroom and shoot down the hall it’s only 11 yards but it helps

Anyone have any suggestions for the Plano McKinney area? I was thinking about one of the less frequented parks but don't want to get a ticket or cause trouble.

I need to ask around next time I'm back home and see where we got it from.. In high school I had a piece of foam 4'x4'x4".

Super dense and couldn't shoot an arrow through it. We used that as a backstop for a 3d target and shot more arrows than I can count at the combo.

Get one of those and you can shoot anywhere

There’s a range by the PGA superstore, but I don’t know what the fees are.

This is where I taught myself archery whilst in Aggieland. Great setup.

I remember seeing a story about the guy that won the gold in the the olympics in 1996. He would shoot across the road into his garage on the culdesac he lived. Think he later said it wouldn't be allowed there in california now.

I just load up my bow and target on the golf cart and head 1/2 mile down the road and shoot behind the park. Wide open field surrounded by woods so I can get my 60 yd practice in there. Elevation is about 20’ below the park so when I’m back there no one can see me.
