I'm in the same boat. For some reason, a mature 10 has eluded me. I have like 7 really nice 8pts on the wall, and last year I had 2 3yrold beautiful 10s right beneath my stand for over an hour, but I've never been in position to take one I would actually take.

I let 3 of them go last year, so hoping this year they're shooters.

Was super excited for you, nobody knows better the patience and work you have put in the last 8yrs since we started hunting together. There is not a better lease mate than you that’s for sure......but I need thick skin

I am so glad I decided to sit with you, it reminds a person what true joy hunting provides to people. I think you were more excited than both my girls for their first deer.
