That's pretty messed up... The most ironic part is that the dog's named "Archer" LOL
I know post 2 was a joke, but if that was my dog, I'd be ready to string someone up. It is very possible for one of our bird dogs or my lap dog to wander to an adjacent property.
Where I'm from (and I assume its the same everywhere), there's an unwritten law that you do NOT shoot a dog. Especially if there is a collar. Of course, I'm not talking about an aggressive stray or a dog killing livestock. In those cases, I'll do the shooting.
Our ranch hand found his top dog shot outside his gate last year. The big, burly hand cried when he told me. In those tiny towns in Duval Co, he knows all the locals. I thought he was literally going to kill someone. If he had, I imagine the local reaction going something like, "Well he did kill his dog."
Hope they catch the sorry POS.
