I'm of the opinion that most folks here are good people...who sometimes get high centered on something and can't seem to get over it. I'd bet that if even those who aren't fond of one another were sitting at an actual camp fire, they'd enjoy themselves before too long. I know that the few people I have met, I haven't regretted a single meeting. I'm sure that a few people will read this and be like "oh heck no, I would never waste my time sitting with XYZ". To those folks I'll say this...life is so much more enjoyable if you worry about today, and let yesterday go trust me, if you let crap fester long enough, it'll make your life a living hell. Enjoy the time that you have left on this earth...it'll pass far too quickly

Jk and well said. At the end of the day we are here for a short time and that time gets even shorter everyday. I’d rather hang out with guys on this forum, with mostly like minded interest, than 95% of those on the Book of Faces.

I'm not saying that some people wouldn't be harder to sit and visit with than others but I do think that some of us, myself included, form an opinion that sticks even in the face of reality. I have changed my opinion on a few folks after having a few talks with them. I think that the hunting community as a whole is filled with solid people, of which TBH is leading the way...I would venture a guess that there isn't another social media outlet that can even say that with a straight face

And the reality of it all, is that we don't have a clue what people are dealing with in their personal lives. We get a small glimpse into who they are thru social media, and form an opinion, and somehow we think we know it all. That just isn't the case.

I'll say it again...I have yet to meet a fellow TBH'er where I walked away wishing I hadn't met them. I actually tend to walk away thinking "man, where did the time go? I didn't intend on staying here that long"
