Not sure how yours is specifically set up but like careybirdwell said. Your 120v from generator goes into camper to the breaker panel for anything 120v powered, aslo to your converter to power your 12vdc items, you dont need batteries to make this work because the generator is applying the power instead. Anyways, usually you have a cover over a panel that when opened you will see some breakers like at your house for any 120v items, in the same panel there will be some fuses.
I would suggest to start from the beginning though to make troubleshooting easier. Next to the plug ins on the gen there is a little round button, thats what everyone is telling you to reset as the breaker. Its not like whats in your house. Just a little round button about the size of a writing pen. Push that, start gen, if you have a 120v plug on gen to use the plug a lamp or something into to ensure it is working. If you use the larger 30A plug for your camper you can then plug your camper up and see if you are getting 120v to you converter, most converters have a fan or fan and light. You can tell if your converter is getting power if the fan and or light is on. To make sure you converter is putting power out find another 12v item and use it like the water pump for the sink if you have one. If not then you will need a meter to check for the 12vdc coming out of the converter. I would check those items first. But also being the age of the camper and if anything on the roof has power then with the roof going up and down could have a broken wire or wires.

My popup is about the same age and the A/C has a cord with a plug on the end. This allows you to plug it in when the top is raised. If Generator is working and you have this set up, pug your A/C directly into the generator. I have had the plug go bad and had to replace it on mine.

Just wanted to update y’all with what I found out: it’s not the converter. The generator lost polarity. I’m going to try and reenergize it with the chorded drill method and if that doesn’t work stay at the local motel tonight, go buy a new one tomorrow.
