Get NAILED on 360 north of Westlake. Messed up the guys truck pretty bad. Poor deer was running in a panic on the west side of the highway as I passed and I watched him cross the opposite side of the highway just behind me. Made it through that but not so lucky on the side where I was. I watched him fly about 10 feet in the air from the inside lane and come to rest in the grass on the other side of the traffic barrier in front of the elementary school there. I wonder what those kids who were out for recess were thinking during that whole thing.

Probable happens all the time, so no reaction or one of the kids is mad because that was his pet.

I was there, Buford! I saw that happen too! No, I wasn't the one that hit him. Was a nice buck for sure.

I was playing golf at the Yaupon course in Lakeway a couple of months ago. About 10 deer walked out and crossed the driving range at about 250 yards. You could hear the pace of the practice shots pick up as they were moving across. lol...

Sika - were you in the traffic on the side where the deer got hit or on the other side? I know you weren't the one that hit him because I turned around and went back to make sure everyone was okay.















Okay... truth is I wanted to see the deer.

That's where I was too. In front of the hit though. If you were behind it you probably got a better view the events than I did.
