The Hunt..is your heart pounding..Why?
I know, lot's of OP's with the season upon us! Excitement for all, anticipation of that Big One...all sorts of critters we all love to see and live for this time of year!
This year...I'm sitting it out until November is here. Momma had hip replacement last week and those of you who have had it know....90 Degree rule so I'm "land locked" for a few more weeks taking care of my Best Friend.
All our kids live MANY miles away so no help until that weekend but that's OK!
THIS is just one of the many reasons I've spent my days since I was 10 years old hunting...but just one...nothing like seeing the sun come up, the sounds before 1st light...the excitement when the critters venture out before sunset...Lord, I LOVE it!
Times at camp with friends, family, grandkids....nothing better!!
This buck rewarded me on my birthday last year AND there's another one wider and thicker that walked within 30 feet of my stand....I was there just watching and scouting....could this be the year once more for a big boy?
