It depends on the GW. It’s best just to carry it so you don’t have anything to worry about.

I'm sure I will be adding items as the day goes on eg: just realized flashlight is not on the list

I do this and keep the list in my phone year round for hunting trips.

I forgot my bow. I thought it was strapped on my pack. It wasn't. I could've went back, but deer were up and moving. I just sat and shot them with the phone.

Oh yeah! Those and Oatmeal creme Pies... hunting season is the only time I ever buy those two things.

No need to carry H.E. card anymore because it's on hunting license now.

On a cold rainy Thanksgiving hunt a couple years ago I was hunting the stand closest to the house, which is walking distance. Its FREEZING, raining, and miserable. I get about 3/4 of the way to the blind and wonder why my hands are warm. Then I realized that I had left my bow at camp. I had to turn around and get it. Didn't cost me anything, but I felt like an absolute bafoon.

Six pack of beer in a bottle… Opens quieter in the blind.

Tagged. I need to check this thread later when I'm getting my hunting gear ready.

Yup.. i have Google Keep and use the checklist every single time i got to the lease. Have stuff on there i dont need year round and if its not season or whatever i still can simply check it off, but it makes me think all gear through everytime
