My first answer was -5.7.

Than I reached out to my friend who's a retired math teacher.
I was wrong. :sad: I remember when i used to be great @ Math.

Anyways i got 8 on the second attempt

I didn’t read all of the responses but if you ever have another family disagreement you can just type the problem in the search bar on your phone internet browser and it will give you the answer. Might not want your kids to see you do it though LOL!

Um... I think you missed the point.
The second and third equations are “not left to right” versions of the first. The answer is the same. So... there is no difference between good no left to right and picking some other random order.
