That's 6 months better than the 9 months that DPMS quoted me for my upper.

I think I am going to put a kit on order from Del-Ton and finish out my lower. I was going to piece it together but complete kits (minus stripped lower) start at $450 from Del-ton.

Are you saying to just by parts and build my own upper?

I don't think I am anywhere near qualified to build the upper myself. I am doing the lower receiver myself though..it's easy

Why? Yeah people may have the parts available but they are ripping folks off more than the stores are!

I bought a lower parts kit for my DPMS 308 prior to the election from DPMS for $68. I was browsing on Gunbroker a couple of weeks ago and there were folks asking $250+ for them.
