    It may behoove you to go back through all of the photos you have and write down every detail - temperature, time of day, date, moon phase and see if there is a trend - a pattern that emerges.

    When you find that pattern, plan to be at the stand 2-3 hours before the pattern suggests.

    He's a great buck and deserves the time and effort.

        A genuine mature even post-mature East Texas Big Buck... one of THE most difficult trophies to take with any weapon, especially a Bow!! Good luck to you sir! Sure be nice to see some LDP's of him with you in the pic as the successful hunter!!

                  I really hope I can make it happen. We had another buck on this property that my buddy killed in 2015 that we hunted hard for 2 years and it finally happened. He had a broken main beam in 2014. Hopefully this one will work out for me or my wife. We have some really good genetics running around the last few years. I guess the right ones have been breeding.

                                I saw a deer like that on the Moore about 2 years ago. Huge body and a chocolate rack. He was moving behind me and I couldn't get turned around in time to get off a shot. I love those thick piney ridges and hardwood bottoms. You never know what is going to walk out.
