I hate dealing with transferring pics from an SD card to a phone or tablet. Slow and cumbersome. Worth my time to buy a cheap laptop or a tablet with a full sized SD card reader (find a refurbished Toshiba Thrive). That's what I use. I guess it depends on how many cards you are transferring, but the ones I've tried have sucked.

Yeah I have the stealth cam reader also, works great.. Just the other day my uncle was telling about the big game camera he had many years ago. You had to get the pictures developed, he couldn’t stand having 50 pictures of squirrels. He sold it a garage sale for 10 bucks. How technology has changed.

Has anyone had the experience of having your pics transfer to your phone or iPad but when you go to review them the only thing you can see is the middle 1/3 of the pic?
I then have to tap “edit” to view the entire photo.
Example of what is displayed after transferred but before selecting edit.

I tried a wild game and it was terrible but I was in a pinch but would not recommend. I’d rather stab myself in the eye with an ice pick than review 3000 pics on that pos. I tried the apple SD card reader on my iPad but it’s slow also. I broke down and bought a $100 cannon camera and go through each pic fast and stop on anything interesting. I protect the photos I want to save them upload them onto the iPad.
There is probably better ways but I usually scan my pics while hunting or drinking a cold beer on the porch. The camera is easy to pack in my hunting backpack so that’s why I do it on the blind.

Thanks. This is occurring with my Moultrie cams.
