5 days and counting at Lake Georgetown

Been a tough year and now there is 5 days left at Georgetown.

Deer are eating all the corn but at night.

I am heading out at 5:00 am Tuesday morning to see if I can catch them when the cold front comes in.

I will post hopefully with some LDP's!!!

I live near the lake. What are yal hunting? Doe's? I see a toyota parked down the hill on 3405 that has a TBH sticker on it. I also see several trucks on DB wood road going to my sons Basketball practice. Just wondering what yall are hunting. Good Luck.

I live off of 3405. Also, if anyone needs a good Taxidermist, Mine lives in North lake around the corner from me. He is awesome and has done alot of TBH'rs stuff. So he is close by.

Good luck out there topduarte. I'm sure I'll see your truck off 3405 tomorrow morning. I hand threw corn in my backyard recently just to see if I could get a few to come in and eat and within an hour I had 6 in the yard. They are definitely coming to corn right now.

Just got back a while ago.

        No luck.

It was 66 degrees when I left Pflugerville this moning at 5:30.

It was 47 when I got to the stand at 6:30. When I left at about 9:15 it was 38 degrees.

The toyota is another fellow TBHer. He was also there this morning.

We are hunting does. I was hoping the front would have come earlier but they are eating the corn.

I hand threw about 5 pounds Monday at 3:00 pm and when I got there this morning 95% of it was gone so I threw another 5 pounds or so.

Gonna try it again for the next 4 days.

They are eating the corn, they just do it when I am not there.

            Jon,

            Any luck today?

I went back at about 2:00 pm to check my corn and it was still there.

Some of the birds are picking and nibbling on it but the deer are coming out late or early in the morning and finishing it off.

I might be there again tomorrow morning but will check the weather if there is any ice out there.

If not, I will be there for sure Thursday afternoon and Friday and Saturday.

            Maybe tomorrow afternoon also.
