    first bow kill

My first confirmed kill with a bow. Had been battling hogs all weekend (with gun and bow), had one run off with my arrow in its neck and never found any blood, sign, or arrow. Pack of 5 hogs came out at 7:30 sunday evening, I couldnt see my pins and shot into the black blob under feeder only to miss. They came right back out, I got really lucky and connected with this small boar, good blood and found him piled up 40 yards away.

      Congrats on your first bowkill.

Get some lighted sight pins if you're going to shoot after dark. Taking shots when you can't see your pins will usually result in lost wounded game. You owe the animals you hunt more respect than that! Even hogs.
