My family and I spent the weekend on a ranch just outside of Leakey along the beautiful Frio River. I sure hope they get some rain soon. The Frio is still WAY low. We spent two days hunting for artifacts and by far this was our best trip ever. Brett I believe came back with 40+ arrowheads/points and Colton came back with 30+ points but lots were chipped or broken. I'll post up some of their finds later. My wife also found some sweet looking arrowheads but on this trip, I showed them how it was done!
Honestly it's all luck which I will take whenever it comes my way.
I apologize for the quality of the pics. I left my good camera at home and all I have is a point and shoot here at the office. First off, here is a fist ax I found which I thought was pretty darn cool.

Here is what I am thinking is a San Saba point. This was my first whole point I found and man was a happy to find it.

Now here is where I almost lost it. I'd have to compare this find with me arrowing a 160+ inch deer. The feeling I had when I found this was something I really can't explain. This is a flawless Kinney Blade that I found on Saturday. It measures just shy of 6 inches and is super thin as you can see. Their isn't a nick on it and it is in perfect, I mean PERFECT condition.

I will get better pictures of it later on with my other camera. I will also get pictures of a few other good arrowheads I found along with a killer Martindale Brett found and a few nice bird points my wife found. For now my Kinney Blade will stay in my shadow box till I get a safe. I have been told by other artifact hunters that this blade will run easily into the thousands because of it's condition. I will never sell it of course.
