    So now im getting confused.

I dont know much about the finders, but
Bushnell with arc technology or Nikon archers choice.

So if im going to use it for bow hunting.
Would either of these do me well?
What one do you recommend over the other?

Or is there one you can use with arc technology that calculates for shot angle and is nicer then these 2?

I understand you will only use it for bowhunting, I'm the same way. I haven't gunhunted in 20+ yrs. I reasearch all these a bunch before I bought my RXII in Nov. prior to that I had the Nikon 440.
The Archers Choice is $259 at Cabelas, the Nikon 550 is the same range finder except it's range is 500yds the cost at Cabelas is $289. Well worth the extra $30, even if you are only bowhunting. Both have ARC. The Bushnell Scout 1000 at Cabelas is $299, for that price I liked the Leupold RXII better for the same price.
IF you don't want the ARC look at the Nikon 440 or the Nikon Team RealTree 550 at $219.
So to summarize: if you want the ARC, I think the leopold RXII is the best.
If you want to save money or don't need the ARC the Nikon 440 or Nikon RealTree 550 is the way to go.
Personally I see no reason to pay $259 for the Archers Choice version that has ARC and limits my range. (and that's painful to say because I love watching Ralph and Vickie) I have used Bushnell in the past and have not been happy with them. This is all my opinion base on my usage of them.
I would go one way or the other but not in the middle.

I have used a Nikon 600 for 6 or 7 years. It will range from 15 yards out to 600 and is good for both bow and gun. Anything under 15 yards, I can estimate myself.

Thank you Keep. Thats what i needed was informative information.
I read about the 550 and the 440.

440 is discontinued, but the 550 has improvements even tho the loss of it's magnification. Also has some thing interesting on how the IR/Laser works to determine target range.

I see what you mean about the yardage now. Nikon Archers choice is 99 yards and the 550 is way more.
That Leopold is nice as well!

Ok now i know what to look at in a range finder,,,,, thanks guys.......

Good luck, what really helped me was going to the store and trying them so I could see how it felt in use. While I'm extremely happy with the RXII the one thing I wish was just a hair better was if the read out was a little darker. You can usually find the 440's in the classifieds for $160ish and it's a good range finder.
