My deer are loving the food plots, not sure if it’s the food plots or blind luck but my deer activity has gotten a lot more regular and seeing bucks I haven’t seen all summer until this last week.

I planted a wheat/seed oats mix here at the house last Sat.. It was up in 5 days and deer already on it.
Planted a smaller turnip patch and it's up too.
Hope I'm not too early!
I finished mowing and spraying in OK today and have Harrison oats ready for it in maybe 10 days to two weeks.
Hope the hogs don't wear it out. We're eat up with them up there!
Interested to see how the buck forage work for you. I paid $21.50 per 50# for the Harrison.

Harrison’s apparently grow big and tall. Dr. Deer says that’s bad.
Seriously what he says and again I’m no fan boy of his. Just made sense that the deer like the tender new growth.Last edited by Fishndude; 09-17-2018, 06:17 AM.

I think the closest dealer for buck forage oats here was one Plano and one in Tyler.
Also noticed the plotspike has really good reviews.Last edited by Backwoods101; 09-17-2018, 06:38 AM.
